Best Anti Wrinkle from Walgreens
You won’t find the best anti wrinkle from Walgreens. They do carry a variety of different brands and the prices are very low, but they don’t have very effective ingredients. Sometimes, you can tell which ones to avoid by reading the warning labels.
For at least forty years, dermatologists have advised that skincare products, lotions and creams, should be hypo-allergenic. An allergic reaction can cause scarring and lasting damage to a person’s appearance and overall good health.
The most common allergens are preservatives and fragrances. I was looking for the best anti wrinkle from Walgreens online, so I looked at one that claims to be hypoallergenic and fragrance free.
The warning label confused me, because it said to use on an “inconspicuous” part of your body, before beginning regular use. This warning usually accompanies products that contain known allergens.
The label continued with advice to discontinue use if “extreme” redness or itching occurs. Let me just say that, if ANY redness or itching occurs, you should discontinue use immediately, because the problem will only get worse.
All of this indicates to me that the product contains allergens, so I read the list of ingredients. It contains not one, but two preservatives. They are both parabens, which have been linked to cancer in several studies. Environmental groups have petitioned companies to stop using parabens, but they continue to do so, because they are cheap.
Continuing to hope for the best anti wrinkle from Walgreens, I looked at the “advanced” version of the same product. It contains a new ingredient called ARGIRELINE.
This is the latest, most highly advertised ingredient on the market. It is usually marketed as a “safe” alternative to Botox.
This compound penetrates the pores and enters the muscles causing temporary paralysis. This is supposed to smooth out wrinkles. It’s probably fairly effective, but it is a new synthetic chemical and it hasn’t been fully evaluated for safety.
The primary concern is that it could cause the same side effects that sometimes accompany Botox injections. There are many, but the one that is really concerning is that sometimes, the paralysis does not go away and the muscle atrophies. This would impair a person’s ability to blink or make common facial expressions.
I realize that people want to look good, but enough is enough. Your health is what’s most important.
I was about to give up, but I decided to look at one of the “natural” products. It also contained the Botox alternative. They are allowed to call it natural, even though it is synthetically created, because the chemical compound is based on a protein that is naturally occurring. If this it the best anti wrinkle from Walgreens, then I give up.
It may take a little longer and maybe cost a little more, but you can find safe and natural ingredients that actually work. They increase production of collagen and elastin fibers. They fade wrinkles and fine lines. They just aren’t available in the drugstores. I couldn’t find the best anti wrinkle from Walgreens and neither will you.
