The Focus Of Anti Aging Face Creams

Anti aging face creams and the suite of youth-restoring products on the market are usually pushed with one thought in mind: make the old look new again.  Whether your skin is damaged by the environmental irritants, left unkempt by poor habits or just showing natural signs of aging,  anti aging face creams look to bring it back to the glory of younger days.

While the main drive of beauty products used to be clear complexions and smoother skin, it’s now “looking 10 years younger.”  For some reason, our society has developed an obsession with appearing younger than our actual years.

Whether this new fixation on anti aging face creams is healthy or not, there’s little reason to doubt that it has led to notable advancements in revitalizing skin care.  No longer can a product take a leading position in the market by providing the same moisturizing and hydration as other brands do.  As such, tons of money get poured into research to come up with formulations that facilitate more lucrative growing benefits.  Amazing advancements such as substances that spur collagen and elastin production have come about as a result of this new focus.

If there’s any caveat, it’s the fact that some unscrupulous companies are passing off false benefits in order to compete in the increasingly-tough space.  As such, consumers will need to be more vigilant with regards to their anti aging face creams, verifying claims with actual research and scientific studies, instead of taking their word at face value.

What’s Your Favorite Beauty Skin Care Product?

There’s an impressive lot of beauty skin care products in the market. Whether you’re looking to stave off aging, bring luster to your hair or smoothen your skin’s texture, there’s always a beauty skin care product out there purporting to do it.

While most of us probably use a variety of skin enhancing wares, I’m sure there are a few that take the cake as our personal favorites. I, for instance, have the Olay Body Wash as my number one beauty skin care product of choice for the gentle and refreshing cleanse it does on my body. Coupled with one of my tried and tested moisturizing lotions (either Green Fig or Shea Butter), I have all the nourishment I could look for from my shoulders down to my legs.

For the face, my beauty skin care product for a gentle yet thorough cleansing is Cetaphil’s non-comedogenic cleanser. Cheap and effective, it has worked well for my skin over many (and I do mean a lot) of years. Of course, I couple the cleansing with a healthy helping of elastin-producing and mineral oil-free night time moisturizer (whole face, including the area around the eyes) and dermal filler light moisturizer during the day.

Something I’ve noticed both in myself and my friends is how difficult it is to get me to change brands. While I hear of a new beauty skin care product coming out almost daily, it’s going to be hard to make me change my routine. What about you? Have you seen an exciting beauty skin care product lately that makes you want to trade up the old for the new?
